Influences: As far as music goes I'd say Beatles, Grateful Dead, Ryan Adams, Dave Matthews, Phish, Wilco, Flaming Lips, Sufjan Stevens, Gin Blossoms (Doug Hopkins), The Decemberists, Mason Jennings, Damien Rice, Elliott Smith, Bright Eyes, Counting Crows, Ben Folds, Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Allman Brothers, Yes, Green Day, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Bluegrass, Ween, John Coltrane, Death Cab for Cutie, and of course the beauty inherent in each and everyday. Nature is definitely another big influence on me. It is me and I am it. The wonderful people I meet and interact with also have a big influence on my day. And of course one cannot forget the influence of a good night of partying. A love of life is a very important thing; I try to maintain this even when it seems difficult. Existing in the present moment is what guides me on this path that begins anew each day...it can also be the most difficult thing in life to do at times.
