I am a mother of two. My oldest son, Avery James, passed away due to a drowning accident in July of 2006 at the age of 2. My extremely difficult loss has showed me the importance of photographs as they are now the only things I have left of his image. I have always loved photography, but never was able to invest in a good camera until recently. I now look back at my very valuable photographs of Avery that I do have, and while I am grateful I have them, I wish that I had even more professional pictures taken of him. As time goes by, your child's face and presence will change dramatically from day to day...the photographs you take are your only way of capturing those special moments in time for you to forever treasure and look back on.
In my portfolio you will see many pictures of my youngest son, Caydan, as I now take photographs of him every chance I get. It is my goal to be able to tell the story of his life through a series of photographs.
I am artistic by nature...I have always felt a pull in my life towards the arts whether it was drawing, painting, acting, writing, designing, or photography. I see the beauty in design, colors, layouts, positioning, angles, and focus. My love and ability for creativity mixed with my passion of creating memories for families allows me to produce pictures you will be able to cherish forever.
