The Impossible Island Band

About Me

One day, three 16 year olds awoke to find themselves stranded on a desert island, with no recollection of how they got there, and no way of getting out of there. They discovered a set of bongo drums, a guitar, a ukulele, a kazoo and a vibraslap sitting beneath a palm tree, and so, with nothing else to do, they began playing music together. They played all day and all night for 2 weeks, and slowly by slowly, songs began to form. Finally, they were rescued by a man in a canoe. This was a relief, as they were beginning to get very hungry and it was unavoidable that after much longer they would turn to cannibalism and eat each other. Upon returning to their homes in Dardanup, Australind and Bunbury, they tried to live their lives as they had before, but soon realized that they needed to make music together, and the world needed them to make music together. And so, THE IMPOSSIBLE ISLAND BAND came to be. ..

Sounds Like: Well an ultra-rude ABC newsreader named Gillian O'Shaughnessy once said that we sound "horrible" and like "a bad John Williamson song", but we like to think differently. You can make your own mind up...
Record Label: Haha, we wish.
