About Me

Shawn and Eden are both professional firefighters in the Albuquerque area. They started playing together in September 2007. They both have played with other bands for many years. Our focus is acoustic blues and blues based classic rock. But we do have some other genres that we play.

Shawn is from Tucson, Arizona. Raised mostly on a small ranch south of there. He met his wife in Tucson and they moved to Albuquerque in 1998 for a better fire department job. He started playing harmonica about 2002. He played many intruments growing up. Such as violin, trombone, piano, mandolin and guitar. His affection for blues music happened upon learning the harmonica and exploring its possiblities. Shawn plays in another band as well playing more classic and contemporary rock and heavier blues (read louder). Shawn has studied under Jason Ricci, Chris Mechalek and Michael Rubin (Rockers in the Rockies I), and David Barrett (Harmonica Masterclass). Influences include- Sonny Boy Williamson I and II; Little Walter; Pat Ramsey; Jason Ricci; Kim Wilson; Muddy Waters; Howlin' Wolf; Paul Butterfield; James Cotton; William Clarke; Sugar Ray Norsica
Eden Copping- Lead Guitar, Vocals/Lead Vocals
Born and bred in the western suburbs of Melbourne Australia. Meeting and marrying a Minnesota girl, He and his new wife moved to St Paul MN in 2000, Not enjoying the climate in winter much (bloody cold!) they moved to Albuquerque in 2001. Eden started playing guitar from an early age then Taking classical guitar in his teens while playing rock and metal as well . He Played in numerous cover bands as lead guitarist in Australia ranging in music from Pat Benatar and Baby Animals to Pearl Jam, Rage Against the machine and Soundgarden. Largely self taught Eden's influences are Mark Knopfler, SRV, Gary Moore, Jeff Healey, Ian Moss (Aussie), Ry cooder, Neil Schon, EVH, BB King, Robert Johnson, Joe Satriani. Steve Vai, and Tommy Emmanuel(Aussie).
