The Dead Falsettos

About Me

The band was formed under the name 'Murmur' in 2003 by Alex Eccles and Jake Barlow. after going through several different rhythm sections, the band decided that they were not working and ditched all other non-founding members. It was on this songwriting partnership that they would build 'The Dead Falsettos'. 3 years since the reinvention, and massive improvement has been made. Jordi Juritz (bass/synths/cello) has been added creating a original Post-punk/alternative rock/irony pop/weird sound for the band and more recently, backing vocalist and keyboard player Helena Westerman has given more depth to the melodies. The band are starting to generate interest within the record industry with their debut (well, soon to be debut) single 'Lazy', and other songs written by the band (currently in lo-fi demos collections called Killer Cult Fever and Greet Your Friends, Salute Your Enemies).a
