We are the Underdogs in this soicety.
Formed in 2007 as No Service the three original members, Kyle Urbanowicz ( drummer), Joe Gore ( Lead Guitar ) and Derrick Bailey ( ex-bassist ) just made a punk band. Something just to fool around with and jam, nothing too serous.
Within the first few weeks of No Service, the name changed to The Good Die Young. The reason for that is because Kyle's best friend had passed away. She was 17 years old. So they decided to change the name of the band in her memory. And now they're all hellbent to get her story out to the public.
Derrick Bailey kind of just left or got kicked out, its undecided, hes..just out. and Derrick if your reading this, i really really hope you got the hint after a few weeks of not showing up, nothing against you man, it just happened.
Anyways after they had aquired Ryan, they began to write they’re cd. (which still isn't done) But they still didn’t have a bassist. And Bassists are VERY hard to find around here.. its a pain in the ass. Julia Gudiboni(ex-bassist)opted for the position. Julia isnt even a bassist... shes a guitarist, but she gave it all she had. Unfortunately after some misunderstandings about practice times and the pressure to play shows so quickly after picking up the bass, Julia decided The Good Die Young was not the band for her. Despite his busy schedule, Joe's brother Jarrod started coming to practice to play temp bass so the guys would be ready when a new one was found. Jarrod had been playing for a few years and was in Joes old band K-Stew and the BAMFS. The replacement never came, and Jarrod got attached to their unique sound. He became one of the family and still plays with them to this day.
