E. Vincent Burrows started out as a shy kid growing up Northern NJ . As an only child, he spent much of his youth in front of the television watching his favorite shows. He soon found himself portraying the characters that he saw on TV, which his family and friends found entertaining. It was after playing a small role in a school production that E. Vincent became hooked on the arts.
As time passed, his head was usually in the clouds dreaming of one day becoming an actor. Unfortunately, as the old saying goes, ,,Life happens while you,,re making other plans.,, E. Vincent got involved in many activities including working on the stage crew for various high school productions. Other favorite activities included playing Ultimate Frisbee and collecting Batman comics and collectibles. He attended college, got married and fathered two beautiful children. He also spent many years working in communications for a Fortune 500 company.
E. Vincent had put his acting dream on hold until he came across an advertisement for Worth-Tyrell Studios in Morristown NJ . It was at Worth-Tyrell that he took acting lessons and the dream was in full motion. He also took voice-over lessons at On-Air Studios in New York . He went on auditions, was told he did well, sometimes great, and the elusive callback remained far out of his reach; or so it seemed. A friend gave his name to an independent filmmaker who was in the process of getting his film made who in turn gave E. Vincent his first break.
E. Vincent,,s acting career began with his debut as Andy's friend in an independent short film called The P.A.R.C. in 2008. He is also looking forward to hearing his voice-over characterizations on the 2008 Knotz hip-hop album The Formula slated for release later this year by Damali Records.
E. Vincent specializes in voice-over work as well as commercial, film, television, and stage acting.
