Leon (Vocals & bass) and Jonny (Guitar) friends since school passed through a whole heap of side projects before they eventually formed what was to become Streetsleeper.
The lineup is completed with Lee (Guitar B/Vox) and Aidan (Drums). Together they are on a relentless drive to write great songs and they bring a charismatic blend of power, attitude and energy to their shows.
Drawing on a wide variety of influences from Muse to Foo Fighters to G N R. Streetsleeper bring relentless purpose to their shows with a charismatic blend of power, attitude and energy!
Streetsleeper do not look & sound like every other band out there.
Streetsleeper do not have the word "The" in their name.
Streetsleeper DO write tunes that will become part of the soundtrack to your life, and to see them live is to fall in love with music all over again.
In Case you were wondering........
STREETSLEEPER:
GIG REVIEWS:
Bedford Metal
STREETSLEEPER are a band that I would not bat an eyelid of surprise if I was to hear they were going to be signed. They are a band that's so tight and rolls along to a great professional sound instantly enjoyable to anyone in the same room and that would go for anyone who had not seen them before also. ......Quite a few people commented that they REALLY liked this band.
THE HERTFORD MARQUEE
"Then came the Mighty 'Streetsleeper' from the outset I could tell these boys were gonna rock!! And they rocked hard!! In fact 'Rocked' is probably a swear word to them as they were 'Metal' but of the polished melodical style rather than thrashing guitars and screaming vocals, they actually classed on of there songs as 'rocky' which for them mean't the lighter sound!! And this was still at least 3 times more meaty than the PSH Set(More abou thtat later) .. These chaps were masters of there trade and they plied it to the level of perfection!!With a mix of Metallica's power and Intensity, RATM/Muse/Foos riffs and rhythms and the classic vocal styling of any qualilty metal outfit these boys smashed through their set...."

THE DUBLIN CASTLE Camden:
"Other highlights of the night were the band who "headlined". A much heavier 3 piece band called Streetsleeper. They didn't arf put some welly into it! Wow, their last song, called "Killing Time", might as well have been called "Killing People" with the amount of power they were hammering their guitars with. Will def go see these guys again should the opportunity arise. Good stuff."
