I have been an artist all my life but not until recently did I discover how rewarding and fun working with polymer clay can be. Sculpting wonderful creations that bring joy into people's lives, creations that simple want to speak to you as if they were real. That is my goal as a doll artist/sculptress.Being an artist all my life has taken me down many wonderful paths. I have experienced all the wonderful different mediums there are to work in. From Calligraphy to painting, I have tried all forms and loved each one along the way. Something changed inside of me when I picked up my first piece of clay. Being able to make a miniature figure that looked so real that it seemed to come to life. From that day forward I decided I would finally be able to share my creations. To be able to give another person the joy I felt while creating my characters. To see them chuckle with laughter or smile with happiness is the best feeling in the world.When you hold one of my creations in your hand, you can't help but start a conversation with them and anticipating a response from that little being. Why, after all when I am creating them I put all of my heart and soul into each and everyone of my dolls. From thought process to clothing detail each one of my creations is a one of a kind."When you can take a lump of clay and turn it into a miniature character that seems to speak to you and evoke a number of emotions on the people that look at this creation, then I know that I have accomplished what I have set out to do."
