I have this huge obsession with very expensive snakes. Like $1000 Chondros, Emerald tree boa. Whatever looks awesome and has huge teeth I have had or have. I know I've spent over 5 grand on snakes. Most of them I have posted on here.
Baby Biak Outcross Chondro "Green Tree Python"
Peruvian Rainbow Boa
Sometime in the next two years I would like to breed my snakes. Waiting to pick up a Rico Walter Sorong Green Tree Python to pair up with my Biak in 2006 or 2007. The Peruvian rainbow was just a really nice pet, But he has became very aggressive as of the past month so i'm going to breed him to a purple phase Peruvain next year. The peruvian rainbow on my page is a red phase. He will not show color untill he is a year or two years old. I have gave up on Emerald tree boas because of alot of reasons. for one i got sick of getting bit, There two inch fangs don't feel too good. Emerald are very aggressive snakes and kind hard to keep, but i got use to working with snakes three or four hours a day so it's no trouble for me. Another is they are very hard to feed. Some will take food some will not. Only one of my emerald have ever took food. So i'm calling it quits on them. I'm just going to stick with different kinds of carpet pythons, rainbow boas and Chondros "green Tree Pythons" Green Tree pythons are alot like Emeralds in alot of ways, But at the same time they are totally different. You can handle Chondros about three time a month. You should never hold a emerald. NEVER!! If you handle a emerald it will take them about five months to chill out and take food again. I have handled my chondro and offered a pinkie about 10 minutes later and he aggressively took it with out even thinking. One little problem with Chondros, their tails brake off very easy. Their tail will not grow back, and they are worthless when their tails brake off. Most baby Chondros Look somewhat the same. With in a year they will have a much different look. Biaks are mostly yellow with some green on them, But there are cases where they will be green with no yellow. Like my chondros mommy and daddy. Sorongs are 80% green with baby blue markings on them. I have adult pictures of a sorong in my pictures. I hoping i will be getting a baby from that srong this fedruary. My Baby has some PNG and mite phase in it with biak. So i know it's going to be different looking. If you need any help with reptiles send me a message. I will get back to you with help. If you are shoping around for some snakes here are some awesome people to go throught. Will Bird is local, and has very nice snakes for the price. I got my peruvian and chondro throught him. Rico Walter is in nashville TN, but he is one of the best Green Tree/Emerald tree Breeders. For the quality His prices are not high. Without Doubt Rico is one for the nicest people ever I have never got anything through Rico, and he has helped me in the past alot. Greg Maxwell Lives in Mount Vernon, Ohio.
