People who aren't stupid.
Gravity:
What if it moved sideways and worked only between two bodies, bending around buildings and trees, going over mountains and under water, and at the end of the day, no matter where they were and no matter what they did, it always pulled those bodies back together and the rest of the world was held in place by the force of their attraction?
"Get used to the idea that death should not matter to us, for good and evil are based on sensation. Death, however, is the cessation of all sensation. Hence, Death, ostensibly the most terrifying of all evils, has no meaning for us, for as long as we exist, Death will not be present. When Death comes, then we will no longer be in existence."

"Now will saying yes get you in trouble at times? Will saying yes lead you to doing foolish things? Yes it will. But don't be afraid to be a fool. Remember, you cannot be both young and wise. Young people who pretend to be wise to the ways of the world are mostly just cynics. Cynicism masquerades as wisdom, but it is the farthest thing from it. Because cynics don't learn anything. Because cynicism is a self-imposed blindness, a rejection of the world because we are afraid it will hurt us or disappoint us. Cynics always say no. But saying yes begins things. Saying yes is how things grow. Saying yes leads to knowledge. Yes is for young people. So for as long as you have the strength to, say yes."
-Stephen Colbert, Knox College Commencement Address
"I learned as a layperson from the sequencing of the human genome... that every human being on earth genetically is 99.9 percent the same. ... Every difference you see between yourself and someone else, the color of your skin, the color of your hair, the color of your eyes, the shape of your body, every single thing is rooted in one-tenth of one percent of your genetic makeup. And yet, think about how all of us basically spend 90 percent of our time thinking about that one-tenth of one percent.,,

"Constantine bastardized the pagan holiday and Christians are evil and we are actually celebrating the winter solistice. JESUS WAS BORN IN THE SUMMER ANYWAY. LONG LIVE THE PAGANS!!!! (ok they are dead, but LONG LIVE THEIR SPIRIT)"

"What's more likely? That an all-powerful mysterious god created the universe and then decided not to give any proof of his existence? Or, that he simply doesn't exist at all? And that we created him so that we wouldn't have to feel so small and alone."
