Hellbent Apostles

Hellbent Apostles is a blues duo featuring Joel Mayo on vocals and Shawn Cash on Guitar and other instruments. Formed in 2007 inspired by friends to return to playing music after a long break. The two share duties writing the songs of unrequited love, God and murder. Though they draw heavily from the blues the are often influenced by old country, soul, rockabilly, bluegrass, gospel, and even punk. They both have been in and out of bands for many years , but feel they are finally doing something true to themselves. The songs while mostly stories draw from life experiences but, also have some lighter content as well.
