ABOUT LEAHA
Leaha is an elementary music teacher in North Texas. She has been teaching for 4 years. Leaha is an avid photographer by hobby and enjoys being with her friends and family. Life is much sweeter with her daughter Madison who is in 5th grade this year. Maddy enjoys taking care of others and just received her green karate belt!
ABOUT JEFFREY
Jeffrey is currently in his second year as a Chemist for a local pharmaceutical company. He is also working on his Masters in Business in the evenings. Jeffrey enjoys golfing and his family. He is an amazing father, too!
HOW WE MET
Jeff and Leaha met in the summer of '05 in Baton Rouge. Leaha was playing a show at a local nightclub and Jeff had come to watch the show. They ended up keeping in touch over several months. Jeff came to TX to look into graduate school and that's where the kindle began. After moving to TX, Jeffrey and Leaha started dating and the rest is history. Big leaps of faith were taken to make this relationship work. A lot of sweat and tears, but mostly a lot of God.

HOW IT HAPPENED
After a long two hours of being separated by a trip of errands and lists of things to do, we finally got together for dinner that Friday night. He took me to my favorite pho restaurant where we apologized for the argument we had been in that past afternoon. He had sent me on a long list of errands but refused to go with me. It had really upset me! Little did I know he was running to Dallas to get my ring which had just been sized. So we get back home and I undressed as I looked for my favorite trousers. We were about to go out and meet up with our friends for a night out. I had on a red bra and a pair of black trousers. As I was digging for my shirt and I saw him fiddling with something. I grabbed the pictures from his hands and realized they were pictures of us over the past several years. Each picture had a time stamp of our memories. The last of the pictures was a poem. I don't remember any words of that poem except the word WIFE. I read it twice and by the time I was finished---he was on his knee. Here I am in my red bra and trousers with the man of my dreams on his knee!!! That is so us! He told me the sweetest and most thoughtful things in that moment. I said yes and we cried. After a long embrace he remembered the ring! It was beautiful, but not near as beautiful as our life is going to be as a family. He has made my life...
