Layout by CoolChaser Marland “Madman” Maurice Brailsford, the author of this summer's HOT upcoming book release, "HOW TO LOVE YOUR SPOUSES LOVER," is the father of eight children (all with one wife). Mr. Brailsford says, he always get a kick out of telling people that because automatically it's assumed that he's a player. Quite the contrary. Madman Maurice is a well respected evangelist in the central Florida area. He was affectionately named “Madman” symbolically referring to his rage towards the enemy. Taking pride in fighting for the underdog, he's traveled the world teaching on love and forgiveness. His mission is to speak in schools, churches, prisons and where ever people welcome him to speak about his journey and victories in forgiveness.Respectfully called, “Madman” Maurice, Maurice Brailsford is simply mad about his passion for life. A native of Jacksonville, Florida, the story of this “mad man” is nothing less than remarkable.At age 17, Maurice Brailsford married his high school sweetheart and soon became the father of a healthy baby boy. With high hopes of one day playing in the NFL, he would be one step closer to that dream when he walked on Bethune Cookman College to play football. That path to the NFL was quickly put on pause when Brailsford learned of the soon arrival of a new baby girl. Maurice left college and decided to serve his country as a solider for the United States Army. While in the United States Army, Maurice continued to play football in the military. This is when he realised that football was not out of his system. He was release from active service to pursue the opportunity to go after his dreams to become an NFL player . After returning from Japan, Maurice played semi- pro football and continued to pursue his dreams of playing professional football. Now a father of 4, Maurice would be afforded yet another opportunity to live his dream when his agent wanted him to move to Dallas and possibly get a chance to work out for the Dallas Cowboys, but that dream would be once again given up when Maurice chose to be a family man and not a football player. At age 30, he was appointed an associate pastor at New Covenant Ministries of Jacksonville, Florida, where he served as street evangelist and youth pastor with his wife. On January 29, 2005, Maurice was chosen as head evangelist of the March for Jesus. This March was designed to bring all churches in the community and surrounding areas together for the purpose of Christ.With Maurice Brailsford's uncanny ability to recognized the gifts and talents of others, he spear headed “Christ-Like Flavor”, a performing arts, out reach ministry, designed to reach the community through the arts.All his hopes and dreams for his family would take a drastic turn when his marriage of 15 years ended unexpectedly. The only thing that would cause him to give up his NFL dreams, family, had quickly vanished.Although a great devastation to his family life, Maurice was named one of Jacksonville Florida's Men Suited for Success in 2006. He also appeared on local TBN several times. Brailsford has also graced the cover of N to U magazine, a successful Florida magazine publication. He continues to team up with local pastors to reach the community through the arts.Now the proud father of 8, the reinvention of a Madman has introduced to the world, THE BOSS, a man of focus, authority, and strength. THE BOSS is here, with a vengeance and has not yet given up hopes of having another shot at his dreams of playing in the NFL while still winning the lost, BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY!!!The Boss formally known as “Mad Man Maurice” has won hundreds of people to the lord with his ministry Christlike Flavor Ministries. His messages have blessed thousands of people. He is a true hustler for the lord and he lives what he preaches. These are just some of the places that The Boss and Christlike Flavor Ministries has traveled and preached: We have done city wide events at Metropolitan Park and at the Murray Hill Theater, we are well known around the city of Jacksonville. We've done special appearances on local TBN TV 59 and "Friday Night Gospel" on TV 7 as well as radio interviews on FM 88, AM1400, FM 101.3 in Gainesville Florida and FM 92.7 in Flint Michigan (Minista Rap). We have also done Christian events and outreaches in Orange Park, Florida; Orlando, Florida; Tampa, Florida; Fernandina Beach, Florida; Gainesville, Florida; Queens, New York with Evangel Temple; Palatka, Florida; Brunswick, Georgia; Woodbine, Georgia; Atlanta, Georgia (Blaclite); Virginia Beach, Virginia; New York City, New York; Chicago, IL; Lexington, South Carolina; Monterey, California; Bronx, New York; and Okinawa Japan with Pastor James Whitaker. We have done outreaches in prisons and from Lake City Florida to Miami Florida with Evangel Temple. These are just a few events and places that Christlike Flavor Ministries has left its mark on. I am just excited to see what God is doing right now in my life.
