Hi,
I'm 22 years old, born and raised in Panama City Beach, FL. I love the water. The beach is one of the best things in the world. I joined the Army four years ago. Since then I've been to 7 different countries including Korea, France, Germany, and Iraq. When I first joined it was to see the world, I stayed in for a totally different reason. Few men and women answer the call to defend this great nation. Of the few that do, even fewer stay in. I will fight any enemy, in any country, for as long as I have to, to ensure that my friends and family are never threatened. I've seen the rest of the world, and it is cold and dark, America is the light.The clip from 300 says it all. Those that are willing to protect this great nation stand together as brothers. We face tyrrany from without and endless politic from within. We do it for honor, glory, and most importantly, each other. We know that we can count on the man to our right, just as he counts on us. This is all we have as soldiers. America is a torch burning bright, keeping the darkness at bay, and we are her shield. Together we can not be broken.
