Echo-Field is a Chicago/Naperville band beginning to generate quite a buzz. Their original songs have that great quality: new, but familiar, as if you've heard them before.
The band originated in November of 2004 when Gary Adam and Patrick Timmons met and entered a musical competition in Woodstock.
Gary had written over two dozen songs, most of which called for enhanced instrumentation. Seeking to incorporate this larger sound, they began seeking additional musicians to forge a band. The addition of Tim's keyboard in February 2005 complemented the playing of Gary and Patrick and helped cement their emerging style.
The band was fortunate to work with some talented drummers and bass players early on. The first public appearance was at the Naper Days Battle of the Bands in June 2005.
In October of 2005, Gary (with an assist from his wife, Erin) brought bassist Dr. Brian Stratta (M.D.) into the band. Brian loved the original songs and has propelled the band forward.
To complete the current lineup, Todd Huenecke joined the band through Brian in 2008. Todd has brought new elements to the original music and the band has never sounded better.
Tell your friends! Echo Field is one of those "under the radar" bands to watch out for.
