Composer, producer, songwriter and performer, Yuval Semo grew up in Tel Aviv, Israel. At the age of 22 he left to pursue his education in Boston at Berklee College of Music. During those years he won awards and scholarships including the prestigious Berklee Achievement Scholarship (BAS) Award and the Certificate of Excellence in Composition from the Alan Reese Residency of the Esterhazy String Quartet. After finishing school Yuval Moved to New York City and immediatly started to work as a film and TV composer. Apart from commercials, Yuval has worked on a bunch of shorts including both the award winning "On Top Of The World" (Maya Kenig, Tel-Aviv, Israel) and "Real Magic" (Gil Levanon, New York). Yuval has also composed additional music for the award winning Japanese movie "Faces of a Fig Tree", starring the Japanese Oscar winner Kaori Momoi (Memoirs of a geisha) Yuval is also one half of The Bursers, an alternative electronic pop duo that he founded with other half, Alon Leventon.
