About Me

I'm the shyest, extrovert that I know. I over-analyze and over-think everything...but I think it actually makes my music better. I've been recording off and on for years, but only played my first live show about a year ago, and you best believe I'm ONLY GETTIN HUNGRIER! My debut solo album is entitled:***"Mr(FillintheBlank)"***--and be on the look out for that real real soon! It's got a lil bit of everything: anger, soul, gratitude, introspection, and of course some of that "let's get it POPPIN' shit! So keep up with my posts and see for yourself what will be available for a mere $5! Although some of the beats are catchy with the hip hop on the radio, it's generally all the same: dumbed-down, not really sayin' anything, bullshit, and sadly enough it's corporate radio's fault! Of course cats are gonna try and come up, but when I talk about comin' up, of course it's money, but it's also an ELEVATED MINDSTATE! I exist below the surface, in the mind, and in the consciousness of people that choose to be awake in the world, instead of just going through the motions in ignorance. It's not because I have a lot of money already that I think this way. I live paycheck to paycheck, and most of the time I'm just trying to get by. BUT, I was raised by amazing parents who taught me that life is so much more, and in that respect, I'm very lucky. Most people would've given up on a trouble-making shitbag like my former self long ago. But back to the music... Sure, there are plenty of great songs about making money, but those songs are great because the central theme isn't how flashy some rims are, or how much someone paid for their chain and medallion; they're great because they speak of struggle and triumph, pain and perseverence, and people working through their problems in a way that at the end of the day they can say: "ain't shit gonna hold me back from what I know is MINE!" That's why it's so easy to separate profound substance from insecurity and over-compensation within hip hop. It's just a shame that the average person has to look so much deeper to find the good shit. I'll rock a show in a plain t-shirt and old ass sneakers harder than any fool with a lambo or a range rover, over-dubbed lyrics, and 8 hypemen on stage shouting inadvertant noises into the crowd. BELIEVE DAT!!! Nevertheless, I like to get the party poppin off too, and I'm not always so serious...haha... I'm a product of the '80s, and to me good music is good music, regardless of genre. Fuck the haterz! MUSIC IS LOVE, AND I'M JUST TRYIN' TO SLIDE MY LOVE INSIDE YA MIND..haha...enjoy!
