I’m a sophomore at Huntsville High.

The first thing you should know about me is that I am a Christian, every aspect of my life is devoted to Christ; I have an active and passionate relationship with Him. I realize this doesn’t make me perfect, so don’t criticize. I’m doing my best, whether it shows or not.

I play guitar, and I try to sing. Singing is certainly not my forte, but I try. Music is my passion in life. I am listening to music, or playing music in my head 100% of the time. Though it is my passion, I don't play/sing in front of people. I've rarely even played in front of my sister, so don't ask unless you think for some reason you are closer to me than my sister. I love it.

I twirl batons, and whether you want to believe it or not, it is hard. It does not offend me in the least that you don’t think it’s a sport, you’re right. Its not, but that doesn’t make it any easier or any less competitive; baton twirlers are the most competitive women in the world, second only to pageant girls. Seeing as how I’m both, I’m extremely competitive.

I’m going to go ahead and answer the questions I get most often about my twirling: Yes, I do twirl fire; Yes, It’s just like Miss Congeniality; Yes, I have burned myself before; and No, my knives could not cut my arm off, they’re not that sharp, just heavy and blunt.

My sister is my best friend. I would literally go CRAZY with out her, and with out knowing that no matter what, no questions asked, she is there for me. Growing up was always easy, because my best friend was right across the hall. Kate now lives in Tennessee at the University of the South, Sewanee. Kate-I Love you and I miss you!

I do beauty pageants, all the time. I love them, and beleive it or not, I've met some of my best friends at pageants. One in particular; Lauren Urban. We met at nationals in Nashville, and immediatly clicked and became best friends. I Love you, Texas!

I am 100% addicted to Ocean Water from Sonic. I have to have one a bare minimum of three times a week. I also am addicted to their tator tots. So basically...if you want to win me over take me to Sonic, I'll love you forever.

Currently, I'm single and I don't mind it at all. I mean, don't get me wrong, a boyfriend would be wonderful...but I'm not the kind of girl who HAS to have a boy to feel important, my security is not dependent on whether I have a boyfriend or not. So, I dont go looking for boys, but I'm pretty happy when a good one comes along.

I'm pretty old fashion when it comes to dating, I will not make the first move, I rarely ever call boys, and I expect a gentleman. Sometimes, guys think that I'm not interested because of my attitude towards dating, but the ones that are worth my time, will stick around. I'm a princess, all girls are, so we deserve to be treated as such :) It breaks my heart when girls let boys walk all over them.

I'm a band geek, and I love it.

My favorite movies are Breakfast at Tiffany's, Almost Famous, Tristan and Isolde, and Dead Poets Society.
