Our students are raised by single parents, grandparents and guardians. People seem to think the only chance an inner city person has is drugs, living on the streets, prison or death! At Anderson's Taekwondo Center we want to offer an alternative solution to the problem!
The Center's Mission Statement:To provide an environment that is conducive to learning and self-improvement.
To teach responsibility and how to become a positive influence in the community.
To teach discipline, self-control and life-saving skills while giving positive reinforcement and encouragement.
To assess the needs of each individual student, working to meet these needs, thereby developing a more positive and productive person.
At Anderson's Tae Kwondo Center they offer an alternative solution! Besides learning the art of Tae Kwondo, the children also learn to become good, productive citizens by volunteering and helping in their local community. They help at the homeless center, feeding the homeless. They work at the food shelf making boxes of food for the needy, and they do it with a smile on their face and joy in their heart!"We are proud of our students and KNOW that they can accomplish ANYTHING!"
