Alla Farmer

Alla Farmer (the real name Alla Komarova) was born in Samara in 1986. Actually music became the greatest part of her life from the first steps in childhood. Alla finished piano classes of a music school in 1999 and then entered thе Academy of arts where she started to learn bass-guitar. In 2000 she tried herself in the role of composer for the first time, and in 2002 her tracks were already transmitted over the youth oriented alternative radio. That’s why Alla considers 2002 year as the true start of her career. The first real work she had done for the one of TV-channels in 2004 was the sound effects for it. By that time she’d already got a great work experience as a participant in a large musical group and as an employee at a sound-recording studio.
Alla found out lounge style as a music she’d like to play most of all. In 2005 during the competition Alla,in her eighteens, was acknowledged the best lounge-producer of the year by Parliament Moscow Lounge Festival organizators opinion. In summer of that year Alla and the second winner of the festival dj Nils successfully presented their sets in Mekka of a lounge world – famous Cafe Del Mar located on Ibiza. Having returned back home Alla started to work on the release of her first personal album. At the same time she was composing music for the film and TV-programms and tried to pay more attention to her career as a dj.
She was seeking her own way in the field of different music styles for a long time and at last had found out some. Now she can subjugates large audience with her love for techno, especially she’s good at minimal and dub techno sets. Usually small friendly parties are completed with the best nu-disco- and funk-tracks from her collection, which are changed as a rule with a refined deep-house set.
In summer 2007 indie-group BAJINDA BEHIND THE ENEMY LINES offered Alla to take part in the recording of new songs, making remixes and performances. Nowdays the group and Alla as a member of it are preparing for the album’s recording and concerts in European countries.
Personal album of Alla Farmer is almost ready to be released in the nearest future. “Fairy” will be produced by an independent lable “Radiance” which is belong to Alla’s friends.
