On 27th February 2008 at approx 1 am in the morning Hebden bridge, like much of the North of England, was rocked by a huge Earthquake measuring 5.3 on that scale geologists bum well hard.Many of us were probably pissed/stoned or sleeping but we all felt it.....well some of you did i personally felt nothing but that’s not the point.The tragic events shook the nation and have left many of us affected and concerned for the state of our houses, especially those of us who live in tower blocks like the shit ones down sowerby.Refugee camps have been set up around the affected areas with tents, torches and blankets readily available, so far though there have been no reported deaths or injuries although I heard on the news a cat suffered a broken paw from a falling brick-tragic. Our thoughts are with the cat and the family
