Sanctimonia is a symphonic gothic power metal band which was formed by few high school friends who shared the same taste in music (Gal Shnaider, Slav Pessin, Ido Shamun and Elad Maayan).
Later on, Naor Zackhaim joined as a lead guitarist, and a few month later Sanctimonia finally found it's rightfull female soprano vocalist, Adi Bahatt.
Combining Adi's high and soft voice with Gal's deathly growls Sanctimonia creats an element of the beauty and the beast presenting a both personal and general life ideas by metaphors in the lyrics.
Sanctimonia's music contains both aggressive riffs and some touching classic melodies which blends into Sanctimonia's very own musical personality.
