Hey there! I'm a singer/songwriter/guitarist/keyboardist/ actor..I have performed, toured, written and recorded since I was a teenager. Yeah, I can do a little bit of everything, and not much of nuthin'! woo hoo!
I'm very busy these days working on my "earthship" home, with an attached greenhouse dome. This is a passive solar home design, invented by Michael Reynolds, of Taos, NM.
Earthships are totally sustainable "green" solar homes, using recycled and natural materials for construction, and have no utility bills...the house that pays for itself!...they produce their own electricity, hot water, and heat from the sun, they catch water from the sky, they are full of planters that grow fruits, veggies, flowers, etc... They are finished off with hand plastered mud walls, flagstone floors, and walking into one is far different than the average stick build house! I have researched alternative building for many years, and in my personal opinions, earthships blow all the others away!
My musical interests are mainly melodic, blues based rock, including 80's hair metal, 60's and 70's rock. Have played in a lot of bands over the years! I also dig some native american music, new age, jazz...actually can listen to most anything other than rap or hippity hop!
Besides my musical interests, I'm also a big time nature, outdoors & animal lover, (my dogs are my kids) a hardcore environmentalist - hence my liberal leanings. I spend a lot of time hiking and riding horses all over the mountains of Northern NM and SW Colorado. I'm a very passionate catch and release fly fisherman. Also totally into hot springs!
After a very long search, I recently bought a piece of mountain land, that I am building my earthship on, north of Jemez Springs, NM, about an hour from Santa Fe, or Albuquerque. This special place is surrounded by National Forest, heavily wooded, and has a gorgeous stream running through the middle that I am building next to. It is very private, but easily year round accessible, and has several natural hot springs within minutes. Come for a visit! Help Build!
I love world adventure travel, was recently in Peru hiking Macchu Pichu. And hey, in the clubs down there, 80's rock still rules. yippee!
All Travel is on hold for a while while I get my house built!
