This Profile is the rough sketch of what it will be, please check back often to see what we are all about. The Columbus Stompers is an all inclusive GLBT Country Western Dance Club. We welcome everyone. "We don't care who you dance with, just dance...or watch!" In fact we do have several straight members who attend on a regular basis. The club dances every Thursday night at Wall Street, downtown Columbus. Thursday evenings are a night to relax, dance, be social, and to have a Stomper ONE drink of course. Dance Lessons begin at 8:00 p.m. The Columbus Stompers also compete in the International Association of Gay and Lesbian Country Western Dance Clubs (IAGLCWDC) sanctioned competitions. We are currently rehearsing for the 2008 competition in Tampa Bay, Florida, Memorial Day weekend. The IAGLCWDC event is a lot fun and hosts great dancing in addition to a competition.
