Working for CIEE in Leningrad. Studying international relations, Russian history, film, and ethnic issues in the post-Soviet space here at the European University at St. Petersburg. Playing in a cover band called THE DUDES, getting way too many screams from the ladies when I play "Rape Me" than I feel comfortable with. DJing at MOD, a CBGB for the 14-year-old Russian emo-kids. Feeling on top of the world one morning and way too homesick the next evening--which I think is a mix we all feel, in some way.
