Sounds Like: Music you hear on the back (and front) porches in the Ozark hills, Appalachian Mountains and anywhere mountain folks get together to musically examine their heritage in America. Sounds like a pot-luck dinner at the Chicken House Opry (thanks Harold!) and the Granny Chicks theatre in Neosho Missouri. Sounds like the Johnson Family Jam and the Jam at Rick and Peggy's. Sounds like the spirit of our friends and family who love and have loved to play old-timey music.
