MY HUSTLE AND MY GRIND!!!

LCWR PROMOTIONS was founded in 2000 by Odom "DaTrappa" Dingle. In 1999 DaTrappa decided to leave Atlanta, Georgia to focus on his self and find a better hustle and life for his family. I had three choices, it was either 1. Go back to the Low Country (Midway Ga), 2. Keep Trapping in the Adamsville Ga (Flatland) 3. Head to SouthWest. The life of Trapping was all i knew, and it was starting to get old. I had a little boy and a little girl to take care of. I was robbed twice, I had two of my doors kicked in and robbed while living in Adamsville. I Told my partern Prince Lee i had to make a change. Part time Rappin and full time Trappin was'nt getting us no where in life. We spent everything dollar we made on clothes, shoes, drank, and something to put in the air.

As a young troubled man I always wanted to have my own company. Until on day in our old apartments in the flatland called Windsor Square. Killer Mike walked in his apartment while i was getting my hair braided and was like what up Goldy? I'm in the door now, I just recorded a feature on Outkast new single coming out. I was like you for real bra? Outkast, the hottest group in the south. When i seen Killer Mike dreams come true. I knew it was hope for a young trapp boy like me. Couple months later i went to Big Ommp Record store and met up with Dj Jelly. I told DJ Jelly needed all the promotion product he had in the store cause i was leaving the flatland and heading to Lawton Oklahoma with my little boy Courvoisier. DJ Jelly said Oklahoma what the hell is out there? I told him my new life.

The road to sucess was hard as hell at first because the SouthWest was different from that Dirty South, they were only playing Dj Screw (RIP) and S.U.C, and Swisher House. Then i started booking concerts cause my money was going low. In 2000 my partners Azazel and Snake put me on to a whole new movement Lil Ke Ke, Paul Wall, Big Moe (RIP) Chamillionaire, Hawk (RIP) 50/50 Twin, Lil Flip, Tre, Z-Ro, DSR, and Slim Thug. I made more money off Paul Wall & Chamillionare, and Lil Flip in two years then i ever made in the Trapps in Georgia. Untill i had my first gamble i paid $7500 and brought Slimm Calhoun, 50/50/twin, Paul Wall, and Chamillionare to Lawton Oklahoma @ McMahon Memorial Auditorium. I tired ticket sales instead of going to the clubs. Thats was my biggest lost $12k was gone just like that. With NO come up plan or no idea of where my next check was going to come from.

About 4 months pass then A Black Clan Records CEO Juan called and was like i need you to do some promotion for my company and new Group Castle Boyz. Juan sent the product and the check cleared. I had the Castle Boyz and Ying Yang Twins the hottest groups in Oklahoma. I was back on my feet. I just started taking Texas Music back to Atlanta and Atlanta Music back Texas & Oklahoma. I told Dj Jelly and Juan on my trips back and forth to Atlanta that these Texas Artist was Eating Damn good, riding big and living good in the south. We needed to connect and make the coast come together. They was getting $20 off top on one mix cd that was selling for $25-$30 in stores while we're getting $6 off one album that sold for $10 in stores. With in 9 months i had Wichita Falls Texas, Lawton Oklahoma and Oklahoma City Streets and all the Clubs on lock with new music and promotion. Every club was playing Lil John & East Side Boys, Ying Yang Twins, Baby D, Castle Boyz, Sammy Sam, Tip, Pastor Troy and Gheto Mafia.

Then about a years later Poka Jones introduced me to Rocko Da Don, he was know by many names, Mr. Freeze, Da Pitcher, & Da Cake Man. Poka told him i was doing big thangs in the SouthWest and he had to go thru me to get this SouthWest market. Couple of month later Rocko called and he had a album called Rocky Road Records Present NWA (No Wack Artist) & another one called Respected The Connected and he had just sign Hit Man Sammy Sam, & Young Dro and he needed me to break their music. Took about a month for Hit Man Sammy Sam "Step Daddy" to get in heavy rotation on K-98 Jamz Lawton Ok (Tony Tone), 103.5 Ok City (Eddie Brasco). Young Dro's "U Deserve It" featuring Monica was heavy in the streets. From there Raheem the Dream and Rocko sent me Dem Franichize boyz new single " White Tees" That was the biggest song i ever promoted thru the SouthWest. Couple years later Rocko Da Don flew the DaTrappa to Atlanta and pulled me into his Rocky Road Camp and it has been Rocky Road ever since.

I HUSTLED AND I GRIND!!!!! 2007 Rocko Da Don's hit single "UMMA DO ME" changed my life and took my company to another level. 200.000 Swag Season mixed tape was hand delievered thru the SOUTHWEST, MIDWEST, SOUTHEAST, EAST COAST, AND THE SOUTH.
