The band started playing as a whole in august when we found dustin, but wesley,logan,and jason have been together for a while. daltons music scene has been dying for so long, we needed to do what we could to put something into the one passion we all shared. A few random suggestions added with some really awesome guitar parts by logan and dustin led to us finally saying we are a "band". Things were rocky at first, we have so many different styles and genres between the four of us that one set style would be hard to make, so we decided since we are all Christians that is was going to be clean music. We all have our specific styles, but we incorporate rock, metal,hardcore,and some emo to what has evolved into After the Fray-- the name took a while to decide on. jason and wesley were in english class and they read a story titled after the fray which was about some girl and her mom or something and over time that name kept coming up in all the conversations on band names, so after time the name grew on us and After the Fray stuck.
