Expressions is less like a club, or a group- and more like a team. A team of people with different interests and talents working together--utilizing these as a means toward developing as a productive group as well as developing as individuals
Now... what does this mean? Basically whatever the youth (each individual) is interested in and willing to improve on gets them into the group. Their responsibility to the group and to themselves is to improve in their area--increasing the group's appeal to others (we will tell you how in a minute) and their own confidence and ability to succeed...
Expressions Youth. was designed to assure that the progress in their areas of interests/talents is equal to their progress in their personal development- academically, physically (health), and personally (social, spiritual, family life).
Each member has a different role in the group, depending on their person. But each member will work toward the completion of a project (similar to the car club members) and will put these on display several times throughout the year- at the car shows, local events, et cetera.
Completion of these projects and improving on their interests and talents will motivate them toward their development into successful young adults. And it's fun!!
