First let me start of by telling you guys why I built this myspace page. I made this profile to meet people who realize that they can create a life by design and are willing to be proactive in making that happen.
You see the mind is a very powerful thing. It is like a computer, in fact it is the most powerful computer on Earth. And the way your mind is programmed will DRASTICALLY determine where you go in life. I want you guys to understand something I believe is key, your mind right now getting you everything you are receiving in life right now this instant. Whether your programming is serving you or holding you back it is what it is.
Show Let Me Tell You a Little About Myself
I'm Kevin Mckoy from sunny Long Beach California. When I was small I moved from there to Washington D.C., and eventually to Texas. I have also lived in Georgia a short time. I was actually pretty crazy as a young kid.
I was all the Dennis the Menace kid that always was in the principles office lol. Whether it was for talking to much or arguing with other students I was your guy lol. I remember one time I was in the 3rd grade these girls were saying something I didn't like and I gave them the finger, I saw a wrestler do it and I had no idea what it meant but I'd thought would be cool, of course everyone was shocked lol.
P>Fortunately around High School that phase wore off for the most part. I have always been the athletic type and some football during the old high school days. I hung up the cleats after high school, but I am still a huge fan, go Cowboys!After High school I started on the path that we are all suppose to take right? Well what is that you say, simple go to college so you can this wonderful degree that is to unlock the keys to kingdom right? Well, at least thats what I thought.
I soon realized that that wasn't the case. You see, I learned that whether you had a degree or not didn't really determine your success. It was something more than that.
And that something more was a vision of how you wanted your life to be and going towards that. I realized what I was going to school for wouldn't allow me to live the life I wanted. Going into work at 7am and getting off at 9pm everyday wasn't the way I envisioned spending my life at all.
I realized that school teaches you how to get a job, but doesn't really teach you anything about money. However, they have no problem taking it from you and leaving you in a huge debt, which most of the time most peoples yearly income won't cover.
I have had a couple of jobs including one of everyones favorites, flipping burgers. In fact Mcdonalds was my first job, I was in 10th grade at the time so it was okay. But I have done everything from lugging bags at the airport, to working in a call center having people yelling at you about their phone bill, a lot of fun let me tell ya lol.
I then discovered that if I wanted a life by design would have to take things into my own hands.
I decided that I wanted to become an entrepreneur. So for a solid 6 months I studied what I would need to get a good start and become successful. It actually took me that long as well to choose a business I wanted to build.
So that is my aim in life right now and the person I have become versus the person I use to be is like night and day, and I know a lot of times when someone says that hey that guy changed, its a bad thing. But believe you me in this mans case change couldn't have been better. I plan on retiring in a few years and traveling and enjoying life.
