About Me

Where to start? Well..... I'm 20 years old, currently taking time off college for job-hunting so I can find a great-paying job, so I can finally, permanently move out of my parent's house and live the proletarian life off my own (sold) labor power. Captalism, sucks don't it?
In case that (or my pictures) didn't tell you, I'm a socialist, though currently not a member of any organizations or parties. I do like to occasionaly help comrades in other groups organize and rally, offer the occasional campaign work, etc.
I'm a musician, that's my favorite hobby, at least. I don't plan on banking off it in the future. After a while of messing around in rock bands, I've moved into writing more classical music, though the samples in the above player A, are years old; B, are recorded on a midi program for lack of quality recording equipment; and C, absolutely suck. They are in no way indicative of my current projects, which I am admittedly being very lazy in finishing. They probably wont work out too well either, but its fun to create art, and use my mind for purposes other than making money.
Assuming you've bothered to read this far, I tend not to accept friend requests from random people, I prefer having some amount of conversation and knowledge of who you are before I befriend you. I would ask that anyone that is genuinely interested in my music or having an online friendship with me that they please send me a brief message explaining so, otherwise I may just disregard it as spam, which I have been getting alot of lately. I also tend to leave band/musician requests unapproved until I have a chance to review their music in entirety.
And now for something, completely different. This is where I advertise bands I like/love, or have seen in the past, or have met/know one or more members of, etc.
I ask that you take the time to review their music, and if you enjoy it, add them, etc. etc. They are genuine underground artists struggling to compete in the corporate-run cloning machine that is known as the 'music' "business".
PLEASE HELP: Go to linda strawberry's page and add her as a friend, post a comment, whatever..... Post a bulletin with this banner (ill send you the html if you meassage me) and put in on your page if you want..... We need to help get her album out!!!

*****ATTENTION DC/VA/MD LOCAL MUSICIANS*****
I'm looking to start a band, (id prefer no one to be younger than me) I'm influenced by mostly the classic and psychedelic rock of the 60's and 70's..... Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Simon and Garfunkel, and all my 'influences'..... I even like some other random stuff like raggae, Indian music, and classical..... Punk music like the Clash, Ramones, and Bad Religion as well..... I like to play pretty much anything and am open to playing different stuff.....
I am looking for:
a guitarist (lead/rhythm/anything)
bass player (I need more than 'root notes' playing)
MAYBE a piano/keyboard player
DRUMMER
I am looking for a singer, yet you must be able to play at least one of the above instruments. You basically need to have some singing ability, your voice does not have to be 'perfect' or 'pretty' by any means (mine isn't either) just have some basic ability to hold a melody..... I would like the singing spots to be alternated, maybe even within songs.....
I need at least one of the members to also be a songwriter, I am one myself and I would like a partner to work with.
Some of my songs are complicated, so some knowledge of music theory is prefered, but not essential
Well if you are interested contact me and/or come to one of my solo shows whenever.....
