Pedro Carvalho had his first contact with music at 12, time when he started his studies on classic guitar in a small music school, in the south region o Sao Paulo, city where he was born.
Years later, started studying electric bass with Nilton Wood (his eternal master), who also called him months later to take part in the staff of the Cover Baixo magazine, for which he writes articles, reviews, transcriptions, cover stories and gear test reviews since the very first issue (today at issue 70).
Gradued bass player at Faculdade de Artes Alcântara Machado, under the supervision of bass player Zeli, since mid 2007.
Besides teaching, Pedro writes two monthly columns for Cover Baixo magazine, one focused on advertising new independent bands dubbed "Garagem", and another one dedicated to heavy music, named "Banger Grooves", where he publishes articles especially zoomed at extreme music.
