I am here for Friends

About Me

I make costumes, garb, fetishwear and random art stuff. I do this for myself, close friends, and total strangers with cashie money. And I will make something for you, that's right, you, if you give me money. To find out more, call me. To get my phone number, email me. The other people who should email me for my phone number are people who remember me from long ago, like Girl Scout camp, junior high, or some haunted house, and want to talk to me. If you are a total stranger who wants to see me naked, please don't try to call me...unless you need an art/photo model...

You are The Moon

Hope, expectation, Bright promises.

The Moon is a card of magic and mystery - when prominent you know that nothing is as it seems, particularly when it concerns relationships. All logic is thrown out the window.

The Moon is all about visions and illusions, madness, genius and poetry. This is a card that has to do with sleep, and so with both dreams and nightmares. It is a scary card in that it warns that there might be hidden enemies, tricks and falsehoods. But it should also be remembered that this is a card of great creativity, of powerful magic, primal feelings and intuition. You may be going through a time of emotional and mental trial; if you have any past mental problems, you must be vigilant in taking your medication but avoid drugs or alcohol, as abuse of either will cause them irreparable damage. This time however, can also result in great creativity, psychic powers, visions and insight. You can and should trust your intuition.

I like to think of myself as an applied artist, which is to say, I'll probably never get a gallery show, but if someone wants an Alice in Wonderland wedding, I can totally help. I'm an eclectic pagan. I have a BA in English with a Creative Writing emphasis. I just got into a graduate program, so soon I'll have more letters after my name (insert evil laugh here.) I'm in the S.C.A. where I get to be a Viking all weekend long. I like it. It is neat. ..

My Interests

I am a writer, I like books, historical costuming (and re-enactment, because I am a total dork) horses, cats, anything to do with the water, learning stuff and teaching it to others, and eating sushi and Indian Food. Ooh! And International travel! And airsoft! More books!

I'd like to meet:

Neil Gaiman, Seamus Heaney, Eddie Izzard

You Are Scary
You even scare scary people sometimes! How Scary Are You?

Music:

Yes, please. At the moment, mostly angsty bands from Scandinavia and their friends. At the moment, I will defend the position that the 69 Eyes Sister of Charity is the best song in the world. Come on, you know you want it. Best song ever!

Movies:

Campy horror, specifially zombies. And Serenity made me a believer in Sci Fi. Although it's more of a space opera. So I guess I like space opera?

Television:

Basic plot of anything I will watch...either animated and pithy or live action and beginning each episode with somebody dead. I don't have tons of time to spend vegging, so not much on the watching of the tv.

Books:

Love Neil Gaiman, James Herriot, Yeats, Laurel K. Hamilton, MaryJanice Davidson. I'll read anything I can get my hands on. My house looks like a used bookstore. Every flat surface is mostly covered in books. I collect reference books too. I have embarrassed myself in public jumping up and down in glee over a thesaurus. And, as of now, I officially have more books than I have furniture to stack them on, which works, since I only vacuum under duress.

Heroes:

Here's the thing, that seems like one of those "too revealing for the internet" things. So, if you really want to know, you'd have to ask, I guess.
