I was born and raised in Anderson, IN. Then lived in Dayton, OH from '96 to '01. Then in Nacogdoches, TX from '01 to '03. Now I live in Louisvlle, KY.
My primary interest is martial arts. I started training in 1978 - I'll leave the math for you to figure out how long I've been at it :)

I also write ( A Pondering of Principles ), edit and produce DVDs (mostly martial arts videos but am not averse to doing other projects), and do some occasional contract work as a computer programmer.
I'm an avid reader (or, perhaps voracious is a better term). I mostly read sci-fi and fantasy but will read just about anything that catches my interest. Lately I've also been reading some interesting non-fiction books.
