Farah Moans

Farah Moans hails from the silly town known as Salt Lake City (and if you couldn't tell from her music, no, she is not Mormon). College and sunshine brought little Farah out to Los Angeles. She began studying theater at USC where she made quite a name for herself as a rascal extraordinaire with a pension for the absurd. Luckily for us, She has incorporated this same light-hearted naughtiness into her songs.She first began her adventures into the musical jungle as an assistant to the almighty producer Joshua Rumer. The two quickly bonded, much like crazy glue and any solid object, so as soon as Joshua became aware of Farah's lyrical abilities, a musical collaboration seemed like a no-brainer. Alas, Farah Moans was born, and the world became a little more delicious.Joshua and Farah began working on her project in a rather round-about manner. She would sing the songs acapella into the microphone and Joshua would use his musical telepathy to decipher exactly how Farah imagined the songs should sound and compose the music accordingly. As a result, the project that they have created defies all boundaries of genre and morality. Farah Moans style ranges from jazzy New Orleans inspired ditties, to scandalous rock that will leave you with chills, and then she wraps all that up with a touch of French burlesque just for the hell of it. She will even bust out the sickest hip hop to be uttered by a white girl, if you are so inclined. A true musical chameleon, Farah Moans tries to make music that everyone can enjoy, grandmas and drunkards a-like. Her songs are fun and fresh, and her lyrics are sharper than a samurai's weapon of choice.
