IT was born in the twisted minds of Rick Hoffman (vocals) and Todd Cooper (guitar) in 2005. They wanted to form a band that mixed their passion for movies with their necessity to rock. They called upon a two friends to join them in this project Danny Thompson (drums) and Will Stuck (bass). Together these four began winning over fans in their hometown of St. Joseph with hard driving, movie inspired rock. Early in 2007, they felt that the addition of another guitar could only take their music to another level, so IT turned to another long time friend Rik Howard (guitar) who fit in instantly. Shortly after the band's current lineup played only a few shows, Rick was sent to Iraq for 4 months. Now with his return to the states, IT is once again ready to bring their music to the masses.During their short time together IT has won the St. Joseph News Press Reader's Choice Gold award for "Favorite Local Band" two years running.
