I'm 21, I went to Anna-Maria College for three semesters and decided that it wasn't for me. I am from Northborough where I am a call firefighter im also an EMT Basic and work full time for Cataldo ambulance in boston and somerville. my best friend john and I decided to move into an apartment in Worcester, live in the city for a while. I love the red sox!!!!!!!!! baseball in general, I love beer! stouts to be specific i.e. Guinness but the less known breweries are much better. I am a rather quiet and reserved most of the time, im the guy that people call when they have a problem because no matter what the problem I will do whatever I can to help them with it, through it, whatever the case may be (I guess thats why I want to be a firefighter hmm.. too corny? sorry.) I love Maine my family and I use to always spend a week or two in Kennebunkport on Goose Rocks Beach sadly we outgrew it. I am always up for camping the white mountains are beautiful. Even though I love parts of other states I could never move out of Massachusetts I am a Masshole through and through. I have seen enough of the other states in this great country to know that I could never leave it. I love to swim I swam varsity for three years at Algonquin. Other than that I am a rather simple guy I dont need anything fancy, a great night for me would be sitting around a campfire hanging out with friends with a couple beers and talking about whatever I prefer the more intimate setting rather than a large club or a huge party. Well thats me in a nut shell there probably will be more to follow.People have asked me why I want to be a Firefighter and my friend sent this to me and I found that it is a good explanation."Oh, you're a firefighter? I wanted to do that when I was a kid. What do you make?" -"What do I make? I make holding your hand seem like the biggest thing in the world when I am cutting you out of your car. I can make 5 minutes feel like a lifetime when I go into a burning house to save your family. I make those annoying sirens sound like angels singing when you need them. I make your wife's head turn when I walk by in uniform. I make your children breathe after they have stopped. I can make you survive a heart attack. I make myself get out of bed at 3am to go risk my life for people I have never met, and have never asked for thanks. I make a difference. What do you make?"
