God has blessed me with many gifts; my family, music, art, photography and writing. My greatest gifts are; my husband, children and grand-children.I grew up with Country Music. I was sixteen when I became interested in singing, and I was nineteen the first time I sang with a band. I remember the first song I sang; "Crazy", recorded by Pasty Cline. I loved Pasty, Tammy Wynette, Lynn Anderson, Loretta Lynn and Dolly Parton. I worked with a mirad of groups, but while I was working with a group in Washington, I met and worked with David Frizzell. He kindly put me in touch with his younger brother, Allen, and I got a job singing with Allen's show in Reno, Nevada. I worked with Allen until he went to Nashville with Dottie West. After that I worked with a few different groups, but left the music business to raise my two children.I performed occationally for my church and local community for years, but a divorce interrupted that practice. It's now been ten years, I'm remarried to a wonderful guy who God has blessed me with, and I find music is once again in my bones. When I was twenty-three, I accepted Jesus as my Savior. I really didn't know the impact of what I'd done until I was thirty. I began to study the Bible, and what I learned was astounding. "Jesus died to cleanse my sins" Up to that point in my life, I didn't think there would be a place for me in Heaven. I was such a sinner, done so many things wrong. No way would I get to Heaven, but I took my children to church because I wanted to make sure they knew Jesus, so they could have a home in Heaven. Why would God want anything to do with a sinner like me? His Grace set me free! My prayer is that God uses me to shine his light so others may find him.I find myself writing Christian Country music these days. I pray that my songs will help someone in thier journey to find Christ. I have performed one of my songs several times, and God blessed me with the knowledge that he touched someone throught it. I'm not sure what will happen with these songs, but I'm content to put that in God's hands. On a whim, I looked up Allen Frizzell, and to my amazement, I learned that he re-dedicated his life to the Lord and has stepped out in faith into a music ministry. My husband and I were blessed to spend some time with Allen and his lovely wife, Gayle in Nashville in January, 2008. Allen and Gayle are a testament to God's grace, and I'm thankful to be a part of thier journey. He can do the same for you, all you have to do is ask him.God's Grace to you all.........
