"Jay Da Don" Born Febuary 21, 1987 in Bakersfield,CA as "Jason Dupree Daniel" to Dale Daniel and Lisa Kinder. As an infant, he lived with mother Lisa Kinder who was on drugs at the time and whom had lost all of her previous children due to her drug addiction and unstable household. His father Dale Daniel was moving to Portland,OR to carry out his career as a chef, and as a Huslter. His father knew he was not in a stable home living with his mother, so his father took him and put him up for adoption. He was age 3 when he was adopted to Mr. and Mrs. Sutton. A little before he was adopted, his father Dale Daniel lost his life to a massive heart attack. From age 3 to 15 he grew up not remembering anything before he was adopted therefore he was not aware that he was adopted. His parents whom adopted him, always informed him that they where his real parents because they loved him so much that they wanted him to look at them as if they where his biological parents. They also planed on telling him when he had turned 18, But due to one of his good friends whom was also his brother getting shot and killed to gang violence, they told him about being adopted. He was unaware that his friend just so happened to be one of his biological brothers! This gave him many questions about his real family, and background. He grew not knowing anyone with the same blood line, and he also had not seen his biological mother since the age of 3. He started feeling overwhelmed with emotion and sorrow. He also delt with many of his neighborhood friends loosing their lives to gang violence. (A path he was sure to take before he lost his brother to gang violence). He later found music as a healer for his pain he had within. He started writing many poems that where encouraged by his passed and by his life. Then as a Sophomore in High school, he started competing in rap battles and various freestyle competions in which he made a name for himself. Finally at age 17, he ran across a friend who was familier with his brother that passed away. His friend gave him the contact number of one of his aunts. After calling this contact number, and speaking to his aunt, he then from there met everyone in his family.{}
