Hi. My name is Forrest, Forrest Gump. People call me Forrest Gump. Some people may believe that miracles don't happen everyday but THEY DO! Now you wouldn't believe me if I told you, but I could run like the wind blows, I never thought it would take me anywhere. I played football at the University of Alabama for a man they called The Bear, I guess they called him that because he was a real big man, I was on the All American football team and got to meet the President of the United States. It may have just been me, but college was very confusing times. After college I went to the Army and faught in the war in Viet Nam where I lost my best good friend Bubba that day on that river in Viet Nam. I won a medal of honor just doin what Jenny told me to do, runnin. I got shot directly in the buttox, the Army said it was a million dollar wound but they must've kept that money cause I never saw a nickel of it. I got to meet the President of the United States again. I was then asked to join the American ping pong team and went to the land of China to play. After I got back I got to go to the whitehouse and meet the President again. I just loved playing ping pong in China with my Flex-O-Lite ping pong paddle. I got a check for $25,000 for sayin that(It was just a little white lie but mama said it never hurt nobody). After taken the $24,562.47 or what was left of it after a new hair cut, a new suit, taken mama out to a real fancy dinner, a bus ticket and three Dr. Peppers, I went to Bayou Le Batre and put it on gas,ropes, new nets and a brand new shrimpin boat. From which the Bubba Gump Shrimp Corporation started. Leutinant Dan got me invested in some fruit company and they told me that I didn't have to worry about money no more. So I cut grass for free now just to help pass time. I miss my Jenny, she died cause the doctors didn't know what was wrong with her and they couldn't fix her. Little Forrest is in college now, he is so smart. But I don't get to see him much anymore and I miss him too. Thats all I got to say about that...
