Wuz good, myspace world?! I'm Mark reppin' Ft. Lauderdale, FL, 954- Sunrise, to be exact. I go by PMBeatz, 1/4 of Generation iLL, LLC. I'm 22 and I've been producing since summer '04. I started off with FL Studio (thanks to my homeboy iLLa), got into Reason 3.0 later on, went back to FL Studio, and now am starting to use Ableton Live, which, btw, is the shit. I like to consider myself versatile in that I love making beats of all genres of hip hop - from dirty south to sample-based soulful joints. You'll catch me listening to a variety of artists from Otis Redding and EWF to Jay-Z and De La Soul. Some of my favorite producers are Just Blaze, 9th Wonder, Kanye West, Lil' Jon, RZA, Illmind, and Pete Rock just to name a very few. I heart hip hop. So let's all keep it alive, ya dig?!

The Beginning...
To kinda explain how producing started, I'll kick it off with a lil' background info. I've been listening to hip hop since about 4th or 5th grade ('94). I got into the school band in middle school, and played the trombone until 12th grade. Loved being in the marching and jazz bands. Being in the band opened my eyes to classical and jazz, two genres that inspire my productions. In college, Spring '04, like I said, iLLa put me on FL Studio. And that's when the passion grew.
