About Me

I was born in Wisconsin and I have played drums since I was knee-high to a grasshopper. I went to college at the University of North Texas where I was fortunate enough to study with Ed Soph, and meet and play with a ton of great musicians. More about me... I want to play in a Klezmer band because I think it would be a hoot. I used to play on cruise ships and highly recommend it if your goal is to become a depressed musician/raging alcoholic. I enjoy going to the library and getting biographies of historical figures and then reading them. I am a qualified, knowledgeable drummer and I have toured extensively with a Hip-Hop brass band from Wisconsin made up of mostly white folks. I have recently gotten over my long-standing hatred of cats. I saw Clyde Stubblefield play often in a small club in Madison, so, that is definitely a good thing about me. I am also considering selling merchandise online with my likeness and a funny catch-phrase like "Dynomite!", or "Where Is The Beef?" Except, you know, one that would not get me sued.
