Polite Riot

About Me

Following a long stint of putting on a weekly punk night at the wondrous New Cross Inn throughout 2008, POLITE RIOT completed the year as one of the key promoters of the hugely successful "Boozin Of The 5000" festival in the autumn. A new year meant a new start and a union was forged with South East Londons best ska/reggae/dub/2tone [etc, you get the picture!] club night SKAWASH so we decided to join forces & demand the second saturday of every month. Held at sambuca-point, the powers that be had no choice but to accept and thus so far we have had some great nights with more to come. Keep in touch as we take this to the next level & do our utmost to bring you the best we can in up & coming and established punk/ska/etc over the oncoming months. And as always, where you see the words POLITE RIOT, there is a free entry element to the shows, currently before 8pm.To keep up to date add yourself to the facebook group http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=home/group.php?gid=8073 561900 as I hate myspace and rarely update this. Also make a point of checking out the other SE London promoters in the top friends and of course the excellent London Punk Gigs myspace. There's shitloads going on in South East London & it's non-cliquey and friendly. Come down & be part of it. See you at the bar / front!
