I grew-up dubbing and splicing tapes and fighting with my step-brother for a go on the Atari ST. Previously drummer with Kimble (former members now Limn), Katlama http://www.myspace.com/katlama, Felix-Lighter (now Mersault) http://www.myspace.com/mersaultmersault, I now perform with the Scissors http://www.myspace.com/thescissorsmusic. However, there has always been a multiplicity to my musical tastes that has not, until now, found a forum for expression. I wanted to add dub-style fx to my live drums. Particularly inspired by Adrian Sherwoods style with Dub Syndicate and African Headcharge (In Persuit of Shashamane Land). I made my own electronic drum kit using Fray Bentos pie-tin lids. Bought and borrowed some toys and began experimenting and learning by trying to copy different sounds from my favourite music such as Children of the Bong, Shpongle and Ott. In 2008 I was inspired by amazing live shows at Bangface, The Glade and the Big Chill. I go through different phases but generally I'd like to make nice chilled-out, danceable and happy dubby or eastern tunes.
