Santiago Paulet nació en Madrid el 1 de abril de 1980. A los 16 años aprendió sus primeros acordes con la guitarra española, y en seguida comenzó a tocar la guitarra eléctrica con Guillermo García, que le enseñó algunos riffs y le ayudó a establecer la base de su técnica como guitarrista. Estudió durante cuatro años en la escuela de música La Factoría, con Oscar Martín Pacho como profesor de guitarra y armonía.

En esa época perteneció a la banda de metal progresivo Acid Rain y más tarde formó su propia banda de rock progresivo, El Bufón de Lear (www.elbufondelear.com), en donde por primera vez volcó todo su esfuerzo creativo a nivel tanto musical, como lírico y escénico, montando performances con percusiones y algo de escenificación teatral, dando conciertos, dos de los cuales en Localia TV y en TVE. Posteriormente formó parte de la Orquesta Banda Sur de Pinto.

Tras acabar sus estudios de Maestro de Educación Musical, viajó a Hollywood (California) a estudiar en Musicians Institute (www.mi.edu), una de las escuelas de música moderna más prestigiosas del mundo que ha contado con profesores como Scott Henderson (con quien asistió a algunas clases), Paul Gilbert (Mr. Big), Jeniffer Batten (Michael Jackson), Frank Gambale, Robben Ford, Carl Verheyen (Supertramp), Jeff Kollman y un largo etcétera; donde obtuvo su Certificate in Guitar Performance (Certificado como Guitarrista de Directo) y amplió sus conocimientos sobre armonía y composición.

Durante 2008 estuvo trabajando con la Orquesta Geiser Band de Ciudad Real y en 2009 con el saxofonista Walter Geromet (http://www.waltergeromet.it/)en dúo acústico de jazz, con el que ha sido entrevistado en Radio 3, y con el que actualmente sigue colaborando.

Es subdirector de la Walter' Sax Ensemble www.waltersaxensemble.com e imparte clases de guitarra eléctrica en Boadilla del Monte.

Recientemente, su tema "From Madrid To Hollywood" ha quedado semifinalista en el concurso Yamaha Guitar Hero 3 (www.yamahaguitarhero.com)

Santiago Paulet was born in Madrid on April 1, 1980. At the age of 16 years old he learned his first chords on Spanish guitar, and then he started to play electric guitar. Shortly after his friend Guillermo began to show some riffs and helped him to establish the basis for his technique as a guitarist. He studied for four years in the music school La Factoría, with Oscar Martin Pacho as a teacher of guitar and harmony.

At that time he belonged to the progressive metal band Acid Rain and later formed his own progressive rock band, El Bufón de Lear (www.elbufondelear.com), in which for the first time he spent all his creative effort at both musical as lyrical and scenic, doing performances with percussion and some theatrically, doing concerts, two of them in Localia TV and TVE. Later he became a member of the Orchestra Banda Sur in Pinto (Madrid).

At the end of his Master in Music Education studies, he traveled to Hollywood (CA) to study at Musicians Institute (www.mi.edu), one of the most prestigious schools of modern music in the world that has benefited from teachers like Scott Henderson (with who he attended some classes), Paul Gilbert (Mr. Big), Jeniffer Batten (Michael Jackson), Frank Gambale, Robben Ford, Carl Verheyen (Supertramp), Jeff Kollman and so on, where he got his Certificate in Guitar Performance and expanded his knowledge of harmony and composition.

He was guitarist in the Geiser Band orchestra of Ciudad Real during 2008 and member of the choir Luigi Bocherini of Boadilla del Monte (Madrid). Now, he is working with the saxophonist Walter Geromet and is a member of the Walter' Sax Ensemble (www.waltersaxensemble.com) He is teaching electric guitar in Boadilla del Monte (Madrid)

His song "From Madrid To Hollywood" is semifinalist of the Yamaha Guitar Hero.
