About Me

Patchface Productions is a collective of talents specialising in the production of urban music. Our objective is simple – create music that will make you nod your head and move your soul…Using our network of contacts we are able to source artists, musicians, writers, sound engineers and producers to compose and record a multiple uses and genres. Patchface Productions is the brainchild of “The Cemist”. He is a musician, producer and entrepreneur. Patchface is the development and production arm of Seventy Entertainment - the parent company.Cemist - has created and defined the Patchface sound by blending distinctive vocal arrangements with infectious bass lines, caustic beats, melodic Fender Rhodes, guitars and searing synth leads. A real juxtaposition of funk, soul, hip-hop, jazz, reggae, rock and gospel. He is a instrumentalist, produces or executive produces much of the material that is coming out on Seventy Recordings. His musical education started in the church as a child protege bass player, the writing and production came later.Krisskutt - grew up listening to a broad variety of music including reggae/dub, hip-hop/rap, folk, 80s soul, house and rock. This has had a impact on his current style of music to date. Krisskutt started playing the trumpet at the age of seven achieving a range of classical qualifications up to the age of fifteen. Krisskutt decided to broaden his horizons and experiment with different instruments and styles of music. And has also played in bands. Krisskutt has experience of DJing and has played in many different clubs and venues in major cities in the UK. He has played alongside some of the top known DJs like EZ, Heartless Crew, Daddy Ernie and the Dream Team to name a few. To date Krisskutt plays a weekly selection of funky house and other genres of music on a radio station which helps him up to date with peoples different choice of music. Krisskutt has spent the best part of 10 years writing/producing tracks for various artists. His style of music is influenced by his cultural background which contributes to the distinct flavour of his music. Kriss kutt is a professional producer for Seventy Recordings. In this role, Krisskutt writes/produces and manages the studio.Watch this space!Allan Simpson - is the Musical Director. Hailing from Hitchin born in the 70s era, Allan has had an infatuation with musical instruments from a young age. Over the course of his academic life he was fortunate enough to meet and collaborate with a number of like-minded musicians, fueling his passion and helping him develop his craft. Allan is an accomplished musician having achieved joint first, along with his band ‘Nobody’s Quartet’ in a Daily Telegraph competition at a young age. This helped spark Allan’s music career and he has gone from strength to strength working with artists such as Sting, Natasha Bedingfield, James Morrison, Jamelia, Zero 7, Terri Walker, Rod Stewart, Lemar, Omar, Joey Negro, Mark Morrison, Beverley Knight, Tim Arnold, Deni Hines among others. Allan has also worked on musicals and films with We will rock you, Dirty Dancing, Billy Elliot, Chasing Liberty & Bunch of Amateurs being some more notable achievements.Patchface Productions are available for production and remixes.
