GREEN HIT’s music appeals to a wide spectrum of people. With influences ranging from Afrobeat to Electronica, and from Funk to Post-rock, GREEN HIT won’t sing you songs. Instead of telling the listener what to think, they allow the mood and feel of the music to communicate meaning. When GREEN HIT shows up at your local music venue, you can expect a full-on production, complete with intelligent lighting. The band has recently been moving into some more experimental spaces with their live shows, incorporating multiple synthesizers, tones, and colors that you won’t hear on the radio. GREEN HIT's music is not limited to any one genre or constrained by any particular label. GREEN HIT performs only original music, and they never play it the same way twice. It’s worth checking out.
NEWs:
-------
GREEN HIT keeps tightening up the skills and mellowing out the music. Look forward to making an upcoming GREEN HIT show, as the necessary creative influences have been successfully added and subtracted. The result will have you loving the new sound. Trey has added a new toy, in the form of a sequencer. The new tune, "Standing Nice In The Park", which is currently fleshing itself out live, is just a taste of the eclectic down tempo sequences which seem to be the direction GREEN HIT is currently headed in. With the 2009 addition of Sean Sullivan, GREEN HIT seems to be working on a new approach to shaping tunes as a band. Now, they are working on new material for their upcoming CD release. The third effort from the band, it is destined to be their most progressive and well-crafted effort to-date.
ENJOY!!!
