Dan Waldman (aka D.Fenda): guitarist (producer).
Playing guitar from an early age; leaving the UK for the US (Boston / NY) at 18.
Performed in the US with bands Lettuce (Velour), The Syndicate (Acid Jazz) and was awarded the Jimi Hendrix Scholarship Award for musical studies in Boston - reported in Downbeat magazine. Returned to the UK in '96 after an intense 2 year journey in music and life.
Since then spending time on either side of the Atlantic, performing / appearing / recording with artists such as MdCL, Randy Hope-Taylor, Raheem DeVaughn, Chris Brann, Derick Nievergeld, Bob Andy, Lady Alma, Richard Spaven, Vanessa Freeman, Nathan Haines, Rhonda Thomas (Isaac Hayes), Shaun Escoffery, Michelle Escoffery, Kaidi Tatum, Enrique Pla (Irakere), Dave DeFries, (Level) Neville Malcolm, Soul Understated, Mavis 'Swan' Poole, Josh David, Stacey Dillard, Kevin Lewis, Jeremy Clemons, Mike Gorman, Matt Penman, Bruce Cox, Will Vinson, Michael Mondesir, Jon B, Imani Wilcox, The Real Live Show, Daru Jones, Malik Work, Stimulus, Nate Jones, Chris Rob, Ray Angry, Corey Bernard, Marie Martin, Freestyle Mondays @ SinSin, and illustrious others.
Recent appearances have included Giles Peterson "Worldwide" BBC1 radio show live in session with MdCL, performing alongside legend Airto at Cargo, Shoreditch, Freesoul 3rd B-Day party / video shoot, Southport Weekender headlining (main room 2AM set) with the Ananda Project, performances with The Real Live Show in NYC and w/ Soul Understated @ spots around the USA. Productions include funky house remix of 'Jump' for MTV Base chart topping R&B group Fundmental, released on daWorks records, 'Septence', dropped by Argo on Broken Beat radio. Other productions are uploaded here, and an album project is in the pipeline / beats imminent...
