About Me

Five men from Oxford who've been offending, confusing and sometimes delighting the region with their unique post-sludge noise explosions. Two commercial releases on the no-bullshit label Hanging Out With The Cool Kids --- the debut EP 'The Banshee Screams For Buffalo Meat' (2004), which showcases the band's early epics and thus weighs in at a ruthless 40 minutes, was awarded four Ks by Kerrang! and 8.5/10 by the extreme authority known as Terrorizer magazine, whose readers voted Sextodecimo "6th Best Unsigned Band of 2004" --- and the incomparable '4 EPs' (2005), a four-way split album of the very best punk, stoner, hardcore, drone and metal in the area, featuring Gunnbunny, Holiday Stabbings, Deguello and of course The Decimo, produced by Ben Thomas and Ben Perrier of Winnebago Deal/Mondo Generator and mastered by Jack Endino, collaborator with Nirvana, Soundgarden, and many other greats --- both CDs are available at damn good prices from Amazon.co.uk, at extorted prices from major stores nationally, or from the band/label themselves.
